Bayer Animal Health has re-designed Drontal from a round shape to a smaller ellipsoid one, in order to make worming an easier process. Drontal is a non prescription wormer that kills every type of intestinal worm commonly found in UK cats including Tapeworm, Roundworm, Hookworm and Whipworm. Drontal works with a single dose, and can be given with or without food. Contains Praziquantel & pyrantel embonate. Dosage Guide: 1 x Drontal Cat Tablet per 4 kg bodyweight; For single oral administration. The tablets should be given directly to the animal, but if necessary can be disguised in food. Routine treatment should be every three months but may be given more frequency if the animal is at higher risk e.g. hunter or scavenger. Not to be used during pregnancy but may be used during lactation. Not intended for use in kittens less than 6 weeks of age.
