Swell Reptiles Calci Worms are the larvae of the black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens). Because they are larvae they are loaded with fat, protein and calcium.
They are a very rich food and so should only be fed as an occasional treat.
As well as a treat they can also be used to feed up reptiles that are underweight or underwell.
Bearded dragons in particular love these tasty worms.
